Years at Prep: New in fall 2020

Siri Herzog is new to Gonzaga Prep in this fall, but her husband’s family has deep connections to the school. She’s excited to be teaching three sections of sophomore geometry after a hiatus from teaching when she was at home with her 3 children. Before that, she taught at Holy Names in Seattle and in Ohio.

“I am very happy to be back in the classroom and love all my students,” she says.

The year looks different from any other year, but she says she’s starting to see students come out of their shells and interact more. “It’s fun to see even during these crazy times.”

In the classroom, she impresses upon students to work hard and be kind to one another. Away from the classroom, she loves spending time with family and friends.

Why consider attending Gonzaga Prep? “Because the faculty and staff care a great deal about the students and a Jesuit education is a great education.”
