Sulochana Abeid

Assistant Admissions Director
Time at Prep: One year

Sulo Abeid wore many different hats before coming to work at Prep. most recently teaching private Spanish lessons. As assistant admissions director, she’s responsible for coordinating the countless engagement events and activities for prospective Bullpups. The transformation she sees as new freshmen start to come of their shells is remarkable, “I notice as they begin to find their own voice and a sense of belonging.”
“There is a huge transformation possible for all of our students,” she says. “The understanding of God's unconditional love that permeates all things at Prep can bring them from a place of learning, to find their voice, to being comfortable enough to lead with it.
She’s excited to sing the praises of Prep to prospective families: “Each student is recognized and known by name. It's easy to feel lost in a bigger school, but the teachers at Prep truly look out for each and every student, want them to succeed and offer many different types of support to meet learners where they are at.”
A `97 alumna, her favorite memory as a student was traveling to Spain with Mrs. Traynor. “It was a whirlwind 10-day trip that was both exhausting and exhilarating, and inspired me to go back to Spain and study in college.”
When she’s not on campus, you’ll find her cooking all kinds of international cuisine, making wine, and doing yoga.
