Nikisa traveled and represented every weekend this summer to multiple tribal powwows. Although the summer powwow season is over, she still has another year of traveling to fall and winter powwows, as well as participating in local parades, such as Valleyfest this month and the Lilac Parade in May, and other large gatherings throughout the inland northwest.

 

She will travel to Albuquerque, NM to represent at the largest powwow in the world, "Gathering of Nations Powwow", in April. There Nikisa will be among thousands of dancers, people from hundreds of different Native American tribes, and people from all over the world. Congratulations, Nikisa!
