Art teacher and coach Kate Stillar believes it was truly the Lord’s timing when she joined the Gonzaga Prep community five years ago. Stillar is constantly in awe at the ability Gonzaga Prep kids have at being reflective in their daily lives. “Prep students have a deeper understanding of cura personalis. For the most part, they can see how their scholastic and extracurricular activities fit into their lives as a portion of who they are as a whole person,” said Stillar. This school year Stillar is looking forward to the second annual OMNIA Art Showcase. The showcase was very successful in the previous year, and she believes it will be great again. This department wide art show, showcases students of all levels. Stillar is also looking forward to welcoming her first daughter into the world this December.

In her free time, she can be found working out at her local crossfit gym, running with local running clubs, or boating with her family. Her favorite food is tacos and she dreams of being anywhere with warm sandy beaches.
